How it all started

2018

I always wanted to work in the creative industry, but I never dared to show myself. So I took the supposedly easier route and did an office apprenticeship. You don’t have to reveal anything about yourself there. However, I didn’t find this job exciting at all. Nevertheless, after the qualification, I continued to work in this “safe” area. Until then, I didn’t know that you could be so bored and overwhelmed simultaneously.

Well… because I couldn’t find the courage to do it, my body then took over at some point and put the brakes on. I literally couldn’t go to work anymore.
Hello, panic disorder and burnout.

2019-2020

I started therapy, and one phrase still sticks with me to this day:

“Where there is fear, there is the way.”

Wow, that struck a nerve. So I jumped over my shadow and signed up for a graphic design course. Excuse me? How is this so much fun?!

Going back to my old job became more and more unimaginable. Quitting was the next step. Wow, that took some courage. After all, I gave up the supposed security. But it felt SO liberating.

And guess what? Two months later, I got pregnant. With the baby, we had waited so longingly for over three years. Who says miracles don’t happen?!

2021

Our baby was born! The greatest of luck in this world. And my biggest challenge. Intense needs wanted to be met and left me hardly time to breathe.

I founded my small business “Mind & Moon Design”. And shortly afterward, I decided to concentrate “only” on being a mom for the time being. I hadn’t listened to my body’s signals before, and I had no desire to make that mistake twice.
